My Project

We've all experienced challenges navigating our way through educational spaces. However, imagine if those difficulties included caring for yourself and a child as you worked towards completing your high school education.

Our students are young women with children who care for themselves, their children, and others inside and outside their homes as mothers, caregivers, employees, and students.

Many are financially strapped, yet they find the time to provide for themselves and others while maintaining their education. Their resiliency is remarkable, and their consistency is commendable.

However, it takes a village to raise a child. As an educational community, we can do more to support our students' journey through school. My classroom doubles as a food pantry for students. Students may take necessary snack, hygiene, and baby supplies to supplement their domestic responsibilities and care for their needs weekly. I aim to keep this system in place so students may focus more on self-care, school attendance, and academic proficiency in their classes.

Therefore, I request your support in providing students with essential educational and personal supplies. Your gratitude is greatly appreciated and makes a tremendous difference in students' lives.
