This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Third grade is the grade where students learn to fall in love with reading. All it takes is one amazing book for them to fall in love with reading.

It can be difficult for students to find a book that gets them interested in daily reading.

I want to be able to add books to my library that will foster a love of reading in all students. By growing my classroom library and adding books that can spark this love, students will be able to develop their reading skills. Having a variety of books in my class will help them choose books that interest them. Nothing beats finding a book that you love, and knowing that there are several more in the series. I want my students to be able to have this opportunity to find the right one that will make the difference in their reading journey.
