My Students

My students are hungry for learning logic. More than one student has mentioned that learning about logic would make this the best school year ever. My students ask me, "What do I do when I'm done?" Instead of having worksheets, I would like to offer them hands-on games and activities of interest.

We are fascinated by all the things we don't know or don't know how to do.

Even though we know we can't master everything (obviously), we like to stretch ourselves to grow in new directions all the time. We are located in a diverse neighborhood of Seattle. My students are in 2nd grade and advanced in many ways. They are self motivated. They work well in small groups and with partners. They can read well. They love math and science. In order to thrive and further accelerate their learning, I wish to support their desire to learn more about logic while keeping the learning fun.

My Project

I am requesting a variety of math logic games that will be used by my students during our math workshop as well as during rainy day recesses. My students will be able to explore logic and reasoning. During math workshop, after student complete their independent practice, they will have the opportunity to explore these materials with a partner or in a small group. These materials will be used by many students in years to come to further explore the concepts of logic.

My students lives will be changed for the better with your donation.

My students and I are alike in many ways... We are constantly seeking new information. I look forward to the constant new challenge and exciting engagement that these materials will provide. Your donation will facilitate learning some new information and knowledge in an exciting way.
