This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am co-advising and coaching the robotics club this year and the competition that we are involved has upgraded to the newest version of the iRobot Create version 3. The students use the iCreate, which is basically an educational version of the Roomba vacuum to build and program a robot to complete missions as part of the Botball autonomous robotics competition.

The students are able to use the KISS IDE to write C programs to the iCreate3 and they can build actuators on top of the base.

We have 4 teams total and need to upgrade our equipment. Please help us get upgraded to the newest version so that the students can further enhance their STEM skills!
