My Project

Greetings Friends!

I am honored to be a Dance Educator at JLS,

located in Brooklyn, NYC. We are a huge community of children & families from diverse cultural backgrounds, with a significant percentage who have emigrated from other countries and now call NYC their home!

The kids are Amazing!

They are enthusiastic, kind-hearted, and eager to engage in new learning experiences with me through the medium of Dance as a Performing Art. We have already completed two large and highly successful Dance Concerts this year, where students were able to shine and demonstrate their skills for invited guests; families, faculty, and peers. These joyful events offered our dancers a sense of pride, accomplishment, and the power of strong & meaningful teamwork.

Our fifth-grade students are currently working on learning the Art of Irish Step Dance with the ultimate goal of performing together again in Concert. The requested costume materials will give our students the extra bonus of feeling like professional dancers! Looking Great on stage is a confidence booster, that will give the presentation a look of cohesiveness, and increase the success of the students' overall performance.

Subsequently, these garments will be carefully stored and used for additional Dance and Performing Arts projects at our school. Please consider making a donation to this worthy project. DANCE ON!
