Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am in 6:1:1 classroom with all 8th boys, who love technology! Any chance they have to come up to the Smartboard or use the classroom laptop, they will jump to volunteer. I can only imagine the growth and engagement if they were able to use iPads to complete academic material.

The iPads that I am requesting will help my students become more independent in our school curriculum.

Our school uses a curriculum that has the option for students to be assigned work on their own accounts, fostering responsibility and opportunities to become more comfortable using technology. However, we currently do not have enough iPads to support each student to work on one during the lesson.

These iPads will not only help students be more engaged in academic work but it will help grow their knowledge with using an online platform. Thank you for being a part of making my classroom a success!
