My Students

My students are fun and active. What kindergarten class isn't? We have fun, we move, dance and sing. This is their favorite way to learn about new things.

My students are very loving and caring.

They have such big hearts and love to help others.

With big hearts and big imaginations, great things will come from my students this year and I can't wait to watch as they grow and learn. The excitement they get when they learn something new is contagious.

My Project

iPads are a wonderful learning tool. My students use iPads to help learn letter sounds, practice counting, number recognition and practice writing. We also use iPads for our listening center. Before students learn to read themselves, they learn by listening to fluent readers. Students can also record themselves reading and listen to hear themselves. They get so excited hearing their voice on the iPad. In science and social studies my students use apps to draw pictures and explain what we have learned. iPads are a wonderful way to enhance student learning and encourage reluctant readers.
