My Students

I teach STEM Technology classes to around 200 students who have been learning 21st century skills, including problem solving, critical thinking, collaboration and persistence, all in preparation for the ever changing world of technology.

In our community, we like to call them our SUPER CODERS!

They display their creativity through projects like game design, music videos, storytelling and artistic projects. They are always so engaged and eager to learn something new in the world of CS, coding, programming and robotics.

My Project

We have been using many free websites in my technology classes. These websites are great and have given my students a foundation in the world of Computer Science. We want to continue to process of developing our students into SUPER CODERS, and with your help, we can make it happen! We have recently purchased Sphero Balls and Dash Robots (thanks to other donations from our community) and require the use of iPads. However, I only have 2 working iPads in my computer lab.

These iPads will allow students to work collaboratively in upcoming ROBOTICS projects.

The cases and charging station will ensure these iPads will be kept safe when they are being used, will have a good home to be stored in when charging, and will preserve the life of the iPads to be used by our future SUPER CODERS.
