My Students

Do you remember the first time you searched the internet or downloaded an app? It was such a thrill! My students need iPad minis to enhance our learning experience. With the iPads, we will be able to explore and learn so much.

I teach 20 energetic second graders.

I teach at a Title I school, so most of my students are economically disadvantaged. In today's economy, the majority of my students can not afford a luxury item like an iPad. I would love to expose them to this technology. They would be so motivated by the opportunity to use an iPad mini.

My Project

My desire is to have iPads available for ALL my students. With these two iPad minis, they could listen to stories, practice penmanship with letters and numbers, work on math facts or just explore the vast world of Apps! My students can record reader's theaters, sing songs, play educational games... and the list goes on and on. I hope all of my 2nd grade students will spend a portion of their school day enjoying and learning on the iPad minis!

My students deserve the opportunity to have the best technology available for the classroom.

The students in my class love using technology when it works and it is a shame they aren't able to use it more. These iPads will give them all a better chance at tech time and thus improve their chances to grow, learn, and be the best that they can be! Please help us get iPad minis, screen protectors and cases! Thank you!
