My Students

My class is composed of 21 eager-to-learn 3rd graders. My students are current with today's technology and I would like to use their interest in technology to make the learning of difficult objectives exciting. I would like iPads for my students to assist in developing literacy and to enhance skills. Our school's mission is to empower each student with global awareness, knowledge, skills and values necessary make a better world.

The school community plays an important role by providing a program of educational excellence which encourages all students to develop to their fullest potential.

As a STEM magnet school, we serve students of all abilities ranging from special education to gifted and talented.

My Project

We will use the iPads in our classroom to help bridge gaps of understanding of certain objectives. After students have mastered an objective, they will be able to enrich themselves by moving on to more difficult objectives with the use of various applications. They will also be able to use the iPads for research! Your donations to this project will provide my students with a way to interactively work on several skills throughout the entire school year. Using iPads in the classroom for workstation activities will get my students excited about the learning process: we all know that interactive learning is the best type of learning available!
