iPads for Interactive Speech Therapy Lessons

Help me give my students an iPad to help boost engagement, language barriers, and learning outcomes.

My Project

Many speech and language resources are designed to be used on an iPad, however students do not have access to them in the classroom. Students are not able to get the full benefits of using various applications to help them grow.

By providing my students with an iPad to use during therapy, they will be able to fully participate in engaging therapy materials.

iPads are equipped with features like VoiceOver and Dictation that will significantly enhance students abilities and confidence when it comes to writing. Many of my students are bilingual, making English their second language. Being able to provide an iPad will allow students to help with translation and provide visuals which would help students expand their vocabulary knowledge. My students are visual, auditory and kinesthetic learners who enjoy learning and seeing new information displayed across multiple modalities.

Being able to learn through technology will help them with their future learning for the years to come. My students love technology and this device will only further their learning and curiosity, both in and out of the classroom. Thank you for helping my students reach their goals.
