This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Every morning, we begin our day with our school motto "AHA is no place for hate, work hard, get smart." The vice principal says ready go and all of the students repeat the words. My students not only say these words, they believe them and follow them with their hearts!

My students are a bunch of energetic 4th graders that are hardworking, caring and eager to learn.

They would love to be able to incorporate technology into their lessons whenever possible, but unfortunately, our school does not have the funding. My students try their best to be successful everyday. It is their positive energy and outlook on life that makes me love teaching every day. Our school is a public school in a inner city in New Jersey. We strive to give our students the best education possible.

My Project

My students will be required to take assessments on the computer this year and many of them don't have access to reliable technology at home. Having iPads with cases in the classroom will allow the students the opportunity to become familiar and even confident with technology. I also feel that my students learning will be enhanced through the use of the educational apps that are available. I am confident that having technology in the classroom will enable us to meet the Common Core Standards as well. I look forward to sparking my students' learning through this project!

I feel this project will improve my students, learning as well as give them the opportunity to become familiar with the world of technology that we currently live in.

Being connected on the Internet will help them become successful researchers and enthusiastic learners!
