My students are self-motivated to learn anything about everything! They question constantly to seek answers but also question those answers. They form opinions based on new learning and love to look for evidence. They are inspired daily to be better people from their families, friends, classmates, and school. The students in my class are driven to succeed and work hard to be the best that they can be. They are a joy and pleasure to work with and learn from. I team with other teachers and now can count over 90 students as my mine. They all work well together and love switching classes to experience different teachers and different class configurations.
My Project
An iPad Pro with a pen will enable my students to create presentations that are way beyond the scope of what I am currently able to offer them. I will also be able to create amazing lessons to engage them.
Their ability to create with technology is evident in my class, but what this iPad will enable them to do will take them to another level.
We are reminded that many of the future jobs that we are training kids for haven't been thought of yet.
My students will be able to create presentations that they can write on, add pictures to, and easily incorporate sound and video to with the click of a button. They will be able to convert handwriting into text, scan work to share with others, and create movies to name a few. The headphones will allow them to work without distraction and to not distract others while they are looking at music for their presentations or as they write songs for projects.
It is important to allow them access to technology that is new and current to keep them learning in a fast changing, digital world.
