Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Responsible. Kind. And independent. Those are just some attributes of my high school math scholars. They attend a low-income Title I school and still persevere through the many obstacles they face daily. These students are special to me because they inspire me to be the best version of myself everyday.

My Project

Being tech saavy is a must in 2021. This school year my students are coming to me after having to master online learning for a year independently. These students went from not having much technology at home, to having to become an expert learner through a computer screen.

The addition of an Ipad Pro to our classroom while allow for the transition from online learning back to in person flow much smoother.

The students have already learned so many tech skills by themselves so why should it stop now? Rather than going back to pen/paper, we can explore and deliver math lessons through the use of a class Ipad.
