This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am writing to ask for your support in securing an iPad Pro with an Apple Pencil to enhance the learning experience for my students. As a dedicated teacher, I use technology to create engaging educational content that helps my students succeed. I produce educational videos that are uploaded to YouTube, which my students can access at any time to review lessons, reinforce key concepts, and stay on track. These videos not only serve as valuable review tools but also provide a unique opportunity for students to learn in a dynamic and engaging way.

In addition to the videos on YouTube, I use my iPad Pro directly in the classroom for live lessons, interactive activities, and on-the-spot demonstrations.

The iPad allows me to create content, draw diagrams, and demonstrate solutions in real-time, which helps keep my students actively engaged and encourages deeper understanding.

However, the iPad Pro I currently use, which I purchased with my own funds, no longer holds a charge for more than 30 minutes. This battery issue severely limits my ability to create videos and teach effectively in the classroom. I can no longer rely on this device to produce the quality content my students need.

By providing funding for a new iPad Pro and Apple Pencil, you would be directly impacting over 250 students in my classroom, not including the many more who benefit from the videos published on YouTube.

This technology will help me create educational videos that keep students engaged, provide them with valuable resources, and improve their overall learning experience. Your donation would make a significant difference in helping me continue to deliver high-quality, engaging lessons.
