My Students
My PreK students are kind, inquisitive, and creative learners. They are so excited to learn and they work so hard! Right now I have all of my students online. That has been a difficult challenge for all of us, but they are here for it! Our Title I school believes that our population of students learn in diverse ways. Some students make the science connection by reading books, while others love to get up and do something. When paired with content learned in the classroom, the collection of real data, experienced first-hand, is what will satisfy the thirst of all learners.
My Project
Differentiation in our classroom is key to learning. There are many levels of learning in our classroom that require not just text books, but also digital learning. The iPad Mini will allow for a different structure of learning in my classroom. The students in my 3rd- 4th-grade classroom will be given the opportunity to practice their math fact fluency to assist in learning multiplication and division using various websites that allow students to learn the facts at their own pace. The students will use the iPad Mini with a partner to view math related videos, practice their facts, and work on word problems to prepare them for the state math test
