Help me give my students iPad Keyboards. Last year our school system gave many students iPads. However as many of our students are writing essays and conducting research, it was exceedingly difficult to do this without a keyboard.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our amazing school is located in the West Bronx, New York and or Sophomore Social studies class consists of diverse learners who all have very real lived stories that paint pictures filled with character, strengths and several styles of learning. While many of our students benefit from socio-emotional support, this is also seen as individual strengths, since they are capable of compassion, care and an innate ability to strive to learn more from their school experiences and community.

When I think of my students I think of two terms; compassion and care.

With those two assets they are limitless in their dreams to achieve. My Sophomore students are exceptional and special because they bring with them a foundation of character, diversity, compassion and care. Every one of our students has capabilities, talents, and strengths; sometimes, all it takes is exposure and motivation.

My Project

Do to COVID, our school has completely gone digital, as such students are having to complete their assignments via laptops and IPADS. These attachments will be used in class to facilitate their learning, as well as collaborate in video conferences with their teachers and peers.

The main benefit of getting keyboard is that your touch pad life will increase and you will enjoy typing while you are working or chatting with friends.

While if you don't have keyboard you will have to hold iPad to type, so using keyboard you will feel flexible in typing.
