My Students

Our students are in a full time ICT second grade classroom. Many of our students come from low-income families. Several are English Language Learners. There are a few that come from single-parent (or single-grandparent) households. All of our students are unique individuals who are always eager to learn and be engaged in exciting activities. Our diverse 2nd graders come from a variety of backgrounds and have different needs and wants.

All of my students are eager to learn with open minds, ready to be filled with knowledge.

Our class has become their second family. They are very energetic and enjoy working with each other, love projects, and strive to do their best

All in all, they are a group of awesome kids!

My Project

Many of my students do not have technology when they go home and being able to provide that for them at school would greatly help improve their engagement. How often do your children use technology? Unfortunately, in our school, the children only use a computer 1 time a week.

iPads are integral and amazing tools that should be present in every classroom.

All students will be able to access learning through technology on a daily basis with the use of iPads in the classroom. Technology is an important part of our world. The iPads will become a tool that will help create more authentic learning experiences in the classroom as well as build twenty-first century skills that our children need in order to be successful in a quickly evolving technical world. My students will be able to work in centers with the iPads, writing, reading, learning phonemic awareness skills, working with math manipulatives and more. My students need two Apple mini iPad 2 tablets to enhance their learning and prepare them for their future!
