Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I would love to get an iPad for our 6th grade classroom this year! It would be the perfect amount for one small group.

If we had enough iPads in our classroom, the students could take turns during Guided Reading and Exploration Time.

This will help them with their letter recognition, letter sounds, sight words, reading, and comprehension. In Math, they will be able to use the iPads to work on recognizing numbers, counting, shapes, patterns, addition, and subtraction.

I believe that having technology in the classroom would not only motivate students to learn, but inspire them to new heights.

By donating to our project, you will not only help my students learn to better navigate technology, you will ultimately help them become better readers, writers, and mathematicians.
