This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I'm confident that having an iPad mini in the classroom will help my students reach their goals! There are many websites as well as apps that the students can use to help them read and write! Exploring websites that have free math games will also help them reach their math goals.

I work in a low socioeconomic area and most of the students in my class are English Language Learners.

They will definitely benefit from having an iPad mini. It will help them become better reader and writers. Unfortunately, due to the lack of funding, my school doesn't have a lot of technology. An iPad mini will help excite the students and help them learn more. I have an amazing class who are hungry to learn! I want to be able to give them a different experience of learning through technology.

My Project

My students need an iPad mini, case, and protector glass. My goal is to use the iPad mini to help increase the students reading and writing levels. We have a reading program that has been funded to us by the state that I'm eager to get my students on, but I need the technology to make this happen! I will also have the students go onto math websites and apps to help them become better mathematicians! Technology makes a difference!

Giving my students the opportunity to explore, learn, and enrich their minds to learn using technology will help motivate them in an amazing way!

Some of my students have a lack of confidence and self esteem due them being so far below grade level. They don't want to exhibit any effort due to this. I KNOW this will help them learn as well as give them the confidence that they need to succeed!
