This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are special education students from low- income households. Most students are from families of immigrants and have limited resources. They require assistance in many areas and we try to provide as much as we can in our school.

They are highly motivated to succeed but have many barriers impeding on their success.

Many students have physical and/or developmental difficulties. Despite these limitations and barriers they are motivated to achieve to the best of their abilities and strive for success.

My Project

My students are special education students who struggle with fine motor and visual motor difficulty. Finding motivating methods to encourage improvements in these areas is sometimes difficult for these students. But they all love using iPads !

With this iPad , my special education students will be highly motivated to practice their fine motor and visual motor skills.

I anticipate great success for them using this iPad. They will gladly practice their skills and be excited to make improvements. I hope to purchase motivating Apps for them to practice their fine motor and visual motor skills including their handwriting skills.
