Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Each student is unique in their own way. They all require differentiated instruction and different ways to learn. I see each student that is in my classroom as an opportunity for change in the future. My students are very eager to learn and to make a difference. With a group of gifted students, I always need to engage and move around and search for things through the internet. They are always motivated to do better with any reward. Especially by using technology. They will be using this to incorporate more online programs allowing me to share my screen with them through virtual learning.

My Project

I am a career coach, and I help High School students finish school and plan for their next step after High School. I walk from classroom to classroom, meeting with small groups, and having an iPad is essential. I will have the students complete their Florida Shines accounts and help them create their accounts remotely on the iPad, complete the career exploration, and create a plan for them to follow to reach that end goal. Students will be able to work hands-on with the virtual courses on the iPad to figure out which career path they want. They can also create their resumes through the iPad and have my final approval.
