This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I am a 2nd-grade teacher in a high needs, low income, Title I school. Our students are primarily English Language Learners. Our school is 70% ELL and 100% free lunch/breakfast for all students.

I will have an incredible group of 26 students in the upcoming 2020-2021 school year.

Every day these students will walk into the classroom eager to learn and ready to face any challenge that's put in front of them. Students spend long hours at school every day and, yet, every single day they're excited to be here and ready to take on whatever is put in front of them. It truly amazes me how determined and dedicated these young minds of theirs are.

My Project

We will be beginning the new school year on August 24th. Due to this pandemic we are all experiencing, this back to school is going to be a journey for all of us. Our school will be going Hybrid, meaning we will be going to school some days and staying home for online learning the remaining days.

I want to provide my students with this ipad that will help with their online academics.

Our school will be providing lots of online blended learning programs for students to use at home and in school. This ipad will help provide students and our class with an extra technology tool.
