My Students

I have a class full of 24 diverse learners, including special education and English language learners, who challenge themselves every day. My students come to school happy, ready to take on whatever the day brings. While they all aim to please, many of them require diverse learning opportunities.

Providing students with a variety of tools and resources to support their academic challenges is my goal!

My students deserve a learning environment that fits their needs. I want my students to continue coming to school every day with a desire to learn, feeling as though they have access to everything they need to help them succeed.

My Project

An iPad and protective case will help my students access technology and use it to personalize their learning. We will use it during our literacy and math centers. This will give students an opportunity to work at their own pace. iPads are an effective way for students to personalize their learning, which helps me reach the needs of diverse learners. We are a technology driven generation and I would like to give my students an opportunity to utilize an iPad to take pictures to showcase their work, take short video clips, while making multi-sensory connections.

Having access to an iPad in our classroom will address diverse learning styles and levels and give students the confidence to respond/engage in their learning.
