This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I've been teaching for the past 16 years. I work with English Language Learners, students with disabilities, and non-ELL's. I am a 1st-grade teacher! This year is like no other. As a proud NYC teacher, we welcomed our students back to in-person learning! We have worked hard to get our students back in the building. Unfortunately, many things have changed.
My students are unique because many of them come from disadvantaged homes or countries and we work together as a class to be the best we can be.
On a regular basis, I observe my students helping and supporting each other to be great citizens.
My Project
I was lucky enough to receive 6 brand new iPads for my class! These cases will help protect the iPads and I will be able to use them for years to come! As we navigate through COVID, having access to technology is one of the most important tools we can provide our students with. These iPads will provide my students with access to technology each and every day we are in the school building.
The iPads will allow my students access to individualized learning apps to help meet their specific needs.
