My Students

"Every child is a different kind of flower, and all together, make this world a beautiful garden." My students are in the 4th grade gifted and talented program in a public school on Staten Island, NY. Each one is unique and has strengths of their own that contribute to their classroom community. They all learn differently and have different needs.

My students are creative and out-of-the-box thinkers.

They flourish with hands-on learning and experimenting. These students are brilliant and motivated learners. There is a range of learning in this classroom that allows each student to push themselves to work hard everyday. They are interested in technology and computer science.

My Project

These iPad cases will preserve the iPads that help teach my students how to apply computer science to the various subjects learned in school. iPads will motivate my learners to participate in engaging projects. It will also further their understanding of daily concepts learned throughout the school year. There are numerous apps my students can utilize to learn about the various subjects we are teaching them in school.

Connecting Osmo to the iPads in the classroom will further my students' knowledge of problem solving and foster their creativity.

The iPads also teach students about digital citizenship and how they should respect the work of others on the internet. It will also allow me to teach my students how to safely and educationally navigate the web.
