This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a teacher that utilizes project based learning in my curriculum, I have found iPads to be very useful and valuable tools for creating presenting content in class. Additionally as a football coach, we have used iPads in the past on the sideline to help with filming and drawing plays/making adjustments on the fly. In the past I have had students and football managers use my personal iPad to do some of these things. Having an additional iPad at my disposal would be very useful both on the field and in the classroom. The computers we have in our rooms are extremely limited in terms of what programs we can and can’t use, and our Smart Boards do not work the way they are intended to. It would also give students that opportunity to present projects in creative and new ways using programs and media that are not available on their Chromebooks. In addition to this I would be able to use the iPad for interactive stations during projects or different activities.
