Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My school is a Title 1, at-risk school, with a population of over 70% English Language Learners.

My students come to school to be loved, laugh, learn, and to eat a healthy meal.

We provide 100% free breakfast and lunch for our students. We are working very hard to accomplish our dreams, goals, and most importantly graduating college and becoming successful. Kindergarten is the foundation that prepares kids for the rest of their lives! College graduating class of 2034, here we come!

My Project

The writing materials will help my little ones become successful in letter identification and letter formation. The alphabet books are dry erase and can be used for many more years to come.

The hands-on math manipulatives and centers will bring a little twist of fun into our daily math lessons.

The geometry tiles, addition and counting games will be used daily to help increase their math skills.

I am also requested alternative seating choices for my students to explore learning in different ways. I can't wait to give my students more seating options throughout our day! Children learn the best when they don't even realize they are learning at all!
