My Students

My students are eager learners who come from diverse backgrounds. They love to explore and are learning how to be good readers. The students in my classroom are community-focused and love to share what they know and have with others.

They are eager to help others and to try out new things.

My Project

By having a large rug and comfortable chairs my students will be able to enjoy sitting on the floor to read or listen to a story. Or they can take a break and have a place to sit and spend time in a quiet comfortable area. My students also just received a listening center this year and are looking for books to listen to which will help them enjoy a good book and listen to someone else tell the story. A good story in a comforting area will give them a safe place to relax and enjoy a good book.
