My Project

My students are wonderful kindergarten-second grade children who come to school bright-eyed and eager to learn on a daily basis. The students in my class are in an ACES (Academic, Career, and Essential Skills) 12:1:1 program and are classified with multiple disabilities- including down syndrome, autism, and multiple/intellectual disabilities. Our classroom is full of joy, laughter, and learning on a daily basis.

My students have many needs and deserve a classroom that is inviting and designed to meet their needs to make them feel loved and safe.

We need an area rug (with a vacuum!) and bean bag chairs for our daily circle time activities, small group activities, and essential playtime.

A warm and inviting classroom, with a comfortable meeting area/play area, will benefit my students' overall experience and performance in school. It is my goal to set my students up for a successful school year, and these items will make our classroom a place for children to learn, grow, and thrive. Thank you for helping me make my classroom a home away from home for my students!
