My Project

In the years following the COVID-19 shutdown, I have been shifted into many different roles. When I leave a role and move classrooms I give away my materials and clear out the things I will not be needing. My new position will be teaching reading and phonics to children who are not on grade level. This is extremely important work, and I will work extremely hard to put my all into helping my new students read on grade level.

Now that I have been shifted into a new role of being the AIS Reading teacher, I am in need of some materials to make my classroom inviting and exciting for learning.

The room I inherited is not currently set up for students, and I want to make it warm and welcoming for all of my new groups. The bulletin board paper will help transform this classroom into a welcoming space. Laminating pouches will help us preserve our ink and help us when we are marking up words. Growth mindset posters will help serve as a reminder to not give up, and stay focused on having a positive outlook. Clorox wipes and tissues will help us prevent spreading illness to one another.

My school works tirelessly to help each child as a whole, and I believe that will hard work and perseverance I can help each of my new students achieve the goals that I have set for them. Thank you in advance for helping us!
