My Students
InVEST in my special education students! Students with sensory needs often have a lot of trouble staying out of trouble!
My PreK students attend an inner city public school in Maryland.
Some of my students have special needs such as ADHD, Autism, Sensory Processing Disorder, and Developmental Delays. These children are included with their typically developing peers for all subjects.
My Project
My children desperately need specific resources to be successful in my general education classroom. Currently, my students with special needs find it extremely difficult to remain calm and focused on our activities due to their sensory needs. Providing my students with a weighted vest that will apply the deep pressure that some children crave will make a world of a difference in their ability to function in my class.
My students with special needs are gaining so much from being included with their typically developing peers.
They want to learn and participate but struggle with keeping themselves in check. Your kind donation can give these children the chance to get the ultimate preschool inclusion experience that is the foundation for their future success.
