My Students

Do you like to create things? Students in my room love to create and invent new things. They struggle to do circuits because they are not able to solder and manipulate small parts.

The students in this classroom range from 14 to 21 years old.

Each student has a disability ranging from mild to severe. The students participate in classes with their peers and specialized classes to help them become integrated members of their community. The school has roughly 1200 students.

My Project

Students will have project cards to start the learning process. They will learn to create and invent new things. They will be able to use the littleBits to create motorized cars, learn how switches works, and light up projects that they make. Students will be able to show their creativity.

Students love to build but don't get to do things with motors or electricity because of the fine motor skill it requires.

With the littleBits the students can snap together circuits to create and show what they know independently.
