My Project

The sports equipment that I am requesting for my students will be used to help them explore and learn a new sport - Table Tennis. I am requesting the basic supplies (table tennis, net, tennis balls, and rackets) and the setup will placed in either a student lounge and/or in the auditorium in our school. We just need your help in getting everything through our door and letting our students have fun!

The donations to this project will help enhance my students love and curiosity to a new extra curricular activity - Table Tennis.

I am hoping our students will use the equipment to interact and socialize in a format other than the digital world. The equipment will be used for students to be active before school starts, after school, and during their recess periods. Having in-school tournaments between staff and students allow educators to build a rapport with our students. This in turn will increase their willingness to learn and succeed in class. Simultaneously, we want to introduce a sport many of our students haven't played or even heard of. Our mission is for students to learn that a game like table tennis can be equally engaging like basketball. After one year of learning this sport, our ultimate goal is to have a PSAL team for the following school year. We will use the equipment to aide in the process of becoming passionate and possibly professional table tennis players. I truly need your support to make this a reality so our students can have enriched experience learning a new sport.
