Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

The students are a mixed group of high school students that vary in how they learn and what they learn. Not only do they vary in their learning style, but they also manage to keep me on my toes by challenging me as their teacher. I love it! Some are amazing writers and photographers, and some need a bit more practice, but they remain and are engaged.

Luckily, I have managed to keep 21 of them and so far, they are amazing.

My Project

My students want to meet people, interact with them, and engage with them in a professional matter. Lanyards and badges will allow them to do this. We will be using the lanyards and badges to help identify our students as they interact with the community and those within our school. It will help them look professional and allow them to feel confident in who they are as a journalism student.

I support allowing my students to grow as individuals and learn to be professionals.

The SD Cards and Camera cases are much-needed materials to help protect the resources we currently have and allow students to learn to apply technical skills in loading images using hardware.
