Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

With flexible seating, students can move around the room and have the freedom to move while also completing their work. We know that our students struggle with attention these days and with flexible seating, this will allow them to stay focused on their work while also having the opportunity to move. Choice is something that educators value and with the variety of options I'm requesting, students will have the chance to choose a seat that works for their bodies and for their individual learning needs. The students I work with are below grade level in reading and with flexible seating, it will feel more like a regular classroom and allow them a chance to get their wiggles out and still learn in a fun enviornment. Please help us make this a great space for students to learn!
