Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are 7th graders who struggle with 7th grade math. I support them one on one or in small groups depending on the type of errors they make when pushing through their productive struggles.

I am always in search of ways to better support my students' needs.

The mobile dry erase boards, markers, holders, and magnets will get my students on their feet as they do math (awesome for my ADHD students). It will also afford them to work through the math with a dry erase markers that will free them to write, make mistakes, respond to feedback and revise.

I have already started this work with mounted dryboards and the response has been great! Students who delayed starting their work are now requesting to work on the boards. In addition to working through their math problems, the new learning space has brought a wonderful collaboration amongst the students that has been absolutely remarkable!
