My Students

I teach a wonderful group of first graders at a school in Southern California where over 30% of the students qualify for free or reduced-price lunch, and 100% of the students receive free breakfast daily.

Our school loves to integrate the arts and technology into our academics because we know that many students are inspired and thrive in an atmosphere where they can explore, discover, and have fun too.

We are a school of many cultures, and many students speak another language other than English at home.

My Project

I am asking for a few inexpensive items to update our classroom projector cart. The requested IPEVO interactive whiteboard system essentially turns my existing projector cart into an interactive system where students can control images or write on the board independently.

Rearranging letters or words to create proper sentences, interacting with websites, shifting math manipulatives around, erasing and creating without hassle of whiteboard markers - the possibilities are endless with an updated projector cart.

As well, the tablet holder will allow students (and teacher) to more readily use a tablet in conjunction with the projector and whiteboard system.

Lastly, our projector cart sound has never been very good and the wires connecting the speakers and speakers themselves are on their last legs. These well-rated, relatively inexpensive, and stereo-pairing-capable speakers should solve this issue and be the pièce de résistance on our new projector system... the students deserve it.
