Interactive Scientific Experience Through Firsthand Exploration
Help me give my students something to manipulate to aid their learning in Science since we are a small school there are a lot of science equipment we do not have.

My Project
The project will make difference in the learning and development of my students by having a firsthand manipulation and exploration of the science equipment STEM Kits. "Learning by doing" is the pedagogy underlying this; students acquire more knowledge when they are actively involved in the learning process. An additional educational theory that this project will support is that it fosters critical and creative thinking in kids living on an island where their daily experiences are confined to the perspective of an island community. Unlike other regions, the island's topography excludes trees and other vegetation. With the hydroponic set up, they will be able to broaden their thinking and knowledge that they can grow and have vegetation which does not require soil. In addition, With Alaska’s longer length of daylight in a specific number of months, solar powered machine can be a great advantage for then to think and have clean energy.
