My Project

This project represents an innovative approach to STEM education, leveraging the knowledge and enthusiasm of high school students to mentor and engage younger peers in elementary and middle schools. By offering after-school STEM projects, high school students will create dynamic learning environments with Click & Grow Indoor Herb Garden Kits where elementary and middle school students can delve into science concepts through hands-on, interactive activities. Through these projects, abstract concepts will be made tangible and accessible, as high school mentors guide their younger counterparts through the process of experimentation and discovery. This mentorship model not only fosters a sense of community and collaboration among students of different age groups but also provides valuable leadership opportunities for high schoolers to develop their communication, teaching, and problem-solving skills. Ultimately, this initiative serves as a bridge between generations, empowering both high school mentors and younger students to cultivate a lifelong passion for STEM education.
