Help me give my students fun and interactive play centers to help them learn and practice foundational social and academic skills through different manipulatives, from counting cars & pompoms to building muscle strength with pencils and tweezers.

I am so excited for my first year as a Young 5s teacher in my own classroom! I love this age group as I am very passionate about helping others build great foundational skills to help them be successful in their academic career and beyond! I believe these foundational skills help my students to be successful as they continue to grow and learn throughout their life. I have a passion for helping others to learn how to build and tap into their creative sides as they learn how to interact with others, share their ideas, build confidence in their skills, and become independent thinkers and kind to others.
Each of the resources in this project will help me as a new teacher to give my students opportunities to learn a ton of skills, in different sensory ways, that will help them to be successful in the class and out of it.
Young 5 is an amazing way to build students ability to interact well with others, find confidence in their emotional regulation skills, and develop key skills needed in kindergarten and beyond. Help me set my students up for success!
In the cart you will see things from pencils, to blocks, to cars, to sand and play dough, to pompoms. I am passionate about building fun and creative learning centers that engage my students and draw them into learning using play. Each of the things I am asking donations for have many different uses and opportunities to help students meet their learning and social emotional goals targeted for young 5’s. My goal with this project is to give my class opportunities to learn in ways that will excite and energize them this year and years to come, as well as build a solid foundation.
