Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

We all remember how stressful it was during finals time in college. Thinking back, what made studying much easier? OUR NOTEBOOKS! Our PLC is focusing on developing interactive notebooks. Our goal is to help students better understand the material while developing good study and note taking skills

My Project

My students are predominantly Hispanic. Most come from low-income homes. This year, they are all freshmen. Since they are new to high school, we hope to help them develop great study skills that will assist them through out their high school years. Thus, making them more prepared for college. My students are great. I was surprised by how many students made an effort to purchase one of these notebooks for themselves, despite their price. I am asking for notebooks for those students who just cannot afford them.
