This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
For some, the opportunity seems like a distant dream. However, it is my job as a teacher to present the dreams and opportunities to my students and try to make it their reality. Too many children, especially in low, socio-economic backgrounds, lack the drive to explore the dreams that many others have partaken in, within their textbooks or PowerPoints. It seems just so far away. I try to bring the textbook and PowerPoints to their understanding and reach. It must be relational in order to keep them engaged. When you build relationships, you can capture their hearts. When you capture their hearts, you can focus and strengthen their minds. When you focus and strengthen their minds, they can do the impossible!
My Project
Our supply budget has been cut drastically this year. This project will provide us with the ink and paper necessary for making copies of content rich foldables. Additionally, the purchase of the colored paper will allow us to color code our content. These classroom supplies will improve my students' organizational skills; therefore, making science content their science content and make note-taking effective.
My students need basic supplies in order to begin our Interactive Notebook project.
You support will assist with differentiating instruction in the science classroom. Without the help of generous donors, we can not afford even the most basic supplies. Please help me to get my students the supplies we need for a successful program.
