My Students

My students have developed a passion for mathematics. They come each day eager and ready to dive into learning middle school math. Coming back from distance learning, students are excited to work collaboratively and inactively with each other. They are interested to see how math relates to their everyday life.

My Project

This project will allow me to create meaningful mathematics lessons for my students. Since the beginning of the school year, I have been needing not only basic supplies but manipulatives to create interactive lessons for my students. These supplies will allow me to bring more abstract concepts to more concrete learning with visuals. Being able to have these supplies will transform my students' mathematics learning.

In my math lab class, I hope to bring engaging math activities for students to dive deeper into their math understanding.

I hope to have manipulatives such as the algebra tiles to help make math less abstract. I want to engage students with interactive group work, so supplies like yardsticks, tape, and supply holders would be helpful. My classroom is in need of basic supplies such as pencils, erasers, and a pencil sharper. With your help, all of this will be possible for my students.
