My Students

My math students are highly visual learners. They enjoy video games and computer games--anything interactive. I want to bring this kind of interactive learning into the classroom with a mobile tablet. I want to show the children how fun math can be!

My math students are very bright children living in a rural school district.

Funding is not available for me to purchase all of the fun extras that I'd like to have for my classroom; much of my budget goes to basic materials. I want so much more for my students than I'm able to give them on my own. Please help me reward these special children with interactive learning.

My Project

The mobile tablet that I am requesting would help me plan interactive math lessons. Students will be able to highlight, make notes, work out math problems, and even teach the class using the tablet from anywhere in the classroom. This technology creates a wireless connection between the computer and the tablet, allowing the pen to be used as a mouse as I move around the classroom. The tablet gives me maximum mobility as I offer intervention, on-level support, and enrichment to meet the needs of a diverse group of learners each year.

Your donation will make a difference in the way my students learn math.

Math will be a fun experience and an opportunity for my students to take ownership of their learning. From support for struggling learners to enrichment for advanced students, the tablet will be useful to a variety of learners for years to come. Thank you for giving to my project!
