Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Students are currently using Google Classroom for remote learning. As a teacher, we are trying to make lessons as interactive as we can, bringing the most we can to life. We are currently using Google Slides to make interactive lessons a vivid experience. I currently have 26 students where half the population is special education students and the other half is general education. We are located in one of the most affected areas by Covid-19 in New York and the USA.

My Project

These materials will help guide my students because it will let me add creativity and audio to my lesson plans and Google Slides that are made for daily instruction for my students. The AirPods will let me create videos and interactive lessons that will ease our way through remote learning with audio input. The easel will be used as material while conducting lessons and creating pre-recorded sessions. The AirPods will allow me to have a silent morning and connect more with my students through video and audio calls especially when I am currently a mother and teacher at home. The learning outcome will be to create a classroom environment from home incorporating audio with the AirPods, using the easel, markers, and notepads to write out teaching points and step by step instructions.
