Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My class is full of energetic children that are eager to learn. For many of them, it is their first time at school and they are ready to learn the important skills that will lay the foundation of their education.

My Project

I will be using the iPads to create a technology learning center within my classroom. Students will use iPads to access learning applications and programs. We will use them for activities such as BOOM CARDS, OSMO, etc. iPads are ideal for this age group because it allows them to use use applications and programs with ease. Touch screen devices allow students to use programs and applications that are not easily accessed through traditional computers. Students at this age have difficulty with the mouse and navigating web browsers. Touch screen devices solve this problem and allows even students with disabilities accessibility to these learning opportunities.
