My Students

My 6th graders are eager to learn, innovative, and love to try new things. My students have the potential to be the world-changers of the future and my hope is that their 6th grade science class would give them the spark that ignites their passions.

Curious, enthusiastic, and creative; my students are eager to immerse themselves in every challenge.

They are fearless when it comes to technology and, as children of the 21st century, they need to be prepared to use a variety of tools to engage their world.

My Project

Nearpod provides my students with an ability to interact with their science lessons whether they are in person or online. I currently teach one section of science online to about half of my students and another 3 sections in person to the others. Regardless of where they are learning from, I want my students to deepen their understanding of science concepts by using the interactive features of Nearpod lessons. A Platinum Nearpod subscription would allow me to create and store more lessons and reach more students per session. It will also allow my students to save their interactions with the Nearpod lessons in order to use them as notes and enhance their learning. The additional features of Nearpod will provide an enriching environment for my science students.
