Interactive 21ST CENTURY Learners

My students need one classroom laptop to view their lessons, videos and activities on the Smartboard. The students will be able to interact throughout the lesson and even earn some free time on the laptop.

My Students

Our students come from a variety of different economic backgrounds with over 60% of our students receiving free lunch. Our Brooklyn school is ethnically diverse. As diverse as our students are economically and culturally, they are diverse in their academics. All students come in with a need to feel welcomed and loved throughout the day. Our teachers are here to provide them with a second home and a sense of security as they enter the doors to our building and individual classrooms.

My Project

This laptop will make a difference in my students' learning and improve their school lives by allowing them to interact during lessons. They can learn 21st century technology skills that will help them become college and career ready. The students will become more motivated and engaged by the use of technology. In addition they can track their behavior on Class Dojo, an online behavior tracking program. This will motivate them to try their very best every day. By funding this project, you will give my students the opportunity to deepen their knowledge and become critical thinkers in a fast-paced, technologically advanced world.
