My Students

Do you remember the trouble of trying to read a math textbook and understand the concepts? I do! Interactive Notebooks are a great, research-based way for students to engage with content.

My students are like any other young adults.

They want to do well, they want to look good in front of their peers, they want to succeed, and they want to be confident. Interactive Notebooks give students the tools and access to curriculum to make them confident and successful mathematicians. I encourage my students to take risks and be brave every day that they enter my classroom; Interactive Notebooks are one way I do that.

My Project

Students create their personal Interactive Notebook using a spiral notebook. We personalize the cover and content, making these notebooks invaluable to student success. Some students are able to purchase the supplies themselves, but others do not have the financial means. That is where your donation comes in. Through this project I could provide the necessary supplies to 50 students that would otherwise be left out. This will dramatically improve their confidence level and outlook in Algebra. It will also improve their learning and success level. I am requesting 50 notebooks, 1 pack of cardstock, 2 packs of gluesticks, and 5 packs of colored pencils.

Your donations will make Interactive Notebooks a reality for 50 students that would otherwise be left out.

All of their learning in Algebra 1 centers on these notebooks. Thank you, in advance, for making math interactive for all students.
